About us

Les Enfants du Pain Perdu

founded by Baptiste Bersoux and Narumi Saso in 2018

Inspired by a completely different life paths from France and Japan to Germany, this company aims to share their creations but also new encounters and exchanges beyond their cultures, their past as well as their future, in the idea of a borderless and necessary art. It reconciles the abstract and the narrative in an open dramaturgy that allows multiple interpretations and, under its naive appearance, awakens and reveals all kind of themes concerning our society.

Their work is a combination of dance, circus and object theater.

Their first work, "Madame Potiron", is inspired by fairy tales and the childhood dreams and rarities that we all have, and uses many everyday objects on stage to share them with the audience. The slow and steady development and the warm melancholic atmosphere are their signature style, and it will only get richer in the future.
